When running Receiver with non-elevated permissions, you are unable to launch desktops or applications. Make sure you have full permissions to "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Citrix". If the user account does not, delete the Citrix key and then restart Receiver. The key should be recreated with the appropriate permissions. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX226530
Upon launching a published desktop you receive error "The specified module could not be found". From a trace "AxWfIcaLib.dll" was missing. .NET 4.6.2 was reinstalled and the user's profile was recreated. Citrix Receiver for Windows 4.8. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX226437

When using a Surface Pro and attempting to span a Remote PC session, the Surface Pro screen looks OK but the second monitor has issues such as the resolution being wrong and black bars appearing along the top and sides of screen. Receiver for Windows is not a DPI aware application so depends on the Windows OS to scale the application as appropriate to the client's DPI settings. Set DPI scaling to 100% on both monitors and on the Surface Pro. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX216648
Receiver might fail to perform the scan function with error message "Your operation is cancelled". Upgrade to Receiver for Windows 4.7. Citrix Receiver for Windows 4.5 and 4.6. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX222885

When users double-hop, wfica32.exe consumes a high amount of CPU. Create a SlowHPCPolling registry key with a value between 2-500ms. It is required that you test the value in your environment to determine which value works best. It is recommended to start with 16ms but if you notice performance issues then you can increase or decrease the value. By default Receiver for Windows polls certain libraries and drivers every 2ms, which will ultimately consume more CPU on the VDA. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX206788

Resource icons are not roaming when using different desktops and as a result duplicate shortcuts are created on the Desktop folder and/or Start Menu. Set DWORD "SelfServiceFlags" to "0x4" under "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Dazzle" for x86 systems and "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\Dazzle" for x64 versions. Citrix Receiver for Windows 4.9. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX226454

Contact your system administrator with the following error: SSL Error 4: The operation completed successfully." when launching applications. Upgrade Gateway with a compatible list of Ciphers: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-workspace-app-for-windows/about.html#cryptographic-update https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX253819
After updating the Store URL by Group Policy, the old store is not removed. This is resolved in Workspace app 1092 for Windows. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX253955
An HDX session to published application lags and stutters with Workspace app 1808 for Windows or Receiver for Windows 4.12 running on Windows 10. This only appears to happen when the Windows 10 laptop is running off battery. Citrix Receiver for Windows 4.12 and Workspace app 1808 for Windows. https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/398365-workspace-1808receiver-412-windows-10-lag/
A silent installation of Workspace app 1904 for Windows does not return a return code from the installer. Certain changes were made to the process handling in the installer, so you may have to update your script. 90 A .docx file opened on a local Windows 10 or Windows 7 PC launches Microsoft Word published from Citrix, but the Word page displays a new empty document, "document1.docx". Excel files launches locally causes a "File not found" error message to appear in the published version of Excel, and PowerShell also throws an error. This issue begins after an upgrade to Workspace app 1811 for Windows or higher. This is resolved in Workspace app for Windows 1907. 91 Sessions disconnect with the VDA Event Viewer reporting "The description for Event ID 1 from source ICA Client (Vanadium) cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer". This can happen if Workspace app cannot validate a received data packet. To ignore the invalid data packet and go to the next packet for processing, try setting "Tw2IgnoreValidationErrors" to "TRUE" and "Tw2IgnoreExecutionErrors" to "TRUE" under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Configuration\Advanced\Modules\Thinwire3.0". https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX259101
After upgrading Workspace app to 1904.1, connections to VDAs running 7.6 LTSR using SSL does not work. The 1904.1 version received a cryptographic update, resulting in some cipher suites being removed. The LTSR version of Receiver should support older SSL ciphers. https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/404178-vda-ssl-and-workspace-app/
When adding an account you receive message "Your account cannot be added using this server address". Try to browse to the Workspace app for Web address manually. This error can be caused if your client does not trust the certificate used by StoreFront.
When launching a published application and then launching a second published application, the first published application opens again and appears twice. This issue occurred on a Workspace app 1909 for Windows client pointing back to StoreFront 3.0. The issue only occurs when launching from Workspace app client and not Receiver for Web. The issue also does not occur when pointing to a newer StoreFront such as 3.12.5000 (LTSR 7.15 CU5). The ideal resolution is to move clients to a newer StoreFront, however setting 'WSCReconnectAll' to 'false' under 'HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Dazzle' resolves the issue.
With multiple monitors in use, the mouse pointer is being pushed outside of the publsihed application window. Setting the resolution on each monitor to be the same as the laptop resolved the issue.
Workspace app 2006.1 takes a long time to launch an ICA session. Create DWORD "SendPublicIp" with a value of "0x1" under "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Dazzle". This bypasses Workspace app connecting to "locus.analytics.cloud.com:443" which fails as seen in a Fiddler trace. Citrix Workspace app 2006.1 for Windows https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX276652
Workspace app hangs at "Connection in progress" and then after a few minutes throws error "The network connection to your application was interrupted. Try to access your application later, or contact your help desk". This may happen when EDT (Adaptive Transport) is enabled and you are connecting over Citrix Gateway. To confirm, from the affected endpoint, you could block UDP traffic to the Gateway and try to launch a resource.
Mouse pointer is offset when using published application. This happens on a workstation connected to high resolution monitors. Open Workspace app "Advanced Preferences -> High DPI" and set "Scale the session for high resolution" to "Yes". This can also be set via GPO to cover multiple workstations.
Running "C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\SelfServicePlugin\SelfService.exe" -poll via a registry Run key string is not working. The string in this case was created by Ivanti. In this example, the formatting of the quotation marks specified in the Run key string was not correct. This was likely caused by copying and pasting from a text editor which did not format the quotation marks as Group Policy/Windows expects.
Some credit card readers no longer process credit card payments. This is resolved in Workspace app for Windows 1912 LTSR Hotfix 2. Citrix Workspace app for Windows 1912 LTSR CU4. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX318353
An "Element not found" error is displayed when launching an application or desktop. This affects the Microsoft Store version of Workspace app. There is an issue with Store app updates. Citrix are working with Microsoft on this issue. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX319748
After upgrading Citrix Workspace app for Windows to 20.09.5, you receive error "Cannot Connect to Server" when attempting to connect to StoreFront. The fix is included in Citrix Workspace App for Windows 20.09.6 release and above. Citrix Workspace app 20.09.5 for Windows. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX282687
After upgrading to Citrix Workspace app 2405 for Windows application launches are failing with error "Internal Error" or "Connection Timeout". The issue is seen more frequently whilst trying to launch multiple applications at the same time. This is a known issue and there is currently a preview release of Citrix Workspace app that contains the fix. 104 When launching a seamless application access to the local desktop such as the Start menu and local applications becomes restricted ans when pressing Windows + Tab an 'ICA Seamless' popup is visible but cannot be clicked on. All hotkeys were redirected into the Citrix session which appeared to be causing this issue.
